About Me

My photo
Karen
I love bagging a beauty bargain and if there's something out there that will make me look pretty, preened or is just downright pampering, and best of all for just a few pounds, I'm on it! Not for me the latest £££ wonder cream which makes me feel guilty every time I sparingly apply, or some magical elixir with ingredients harvested by pixies at dawn, I'm searching for the best beauty basics, those affordable handbag heroes that any beauty-savvy suburbanite can pick up on any high street or from the supermarket shelves. That's not to say I don't enjoy the occasional luxe product, but only if it lives up to its promise and lasts! You don't need to live in the big city, you don't need to hit the department stores or day spas, I'm talking about the best 'cheap thrills' beauty secrets. Oh, and when I'm not writing, I'm a qualified beautician and holistic therapist too, so hopefully you'll get the best of both worlds! Join me on my quest as I try out the best of the brand new launches and classic all-time favourites, share some time and money-saving beauty tips and chat about the latest fazes and crazes.
